“I do what i love and I love what I do"
Adam Fedderly pursues his passions through painting and photography. Capturing the richness and delight of individuals and groups from actors, artists to musicians and models in a timeless ilk has allowed him to evolve in his visual communication. Currently based out of Southern California where he lives with his wife and son. He is working on multiple series of works. His photographic series of water loving individuals "water lovers" colorless portraits of individuals wet, began in 2012. The desire to photograph various subjects from swimmers, surfers, divers all wet, "in the purest form" in order to find the similarities of tranquility and peace the water adheres consist of over one hundred portraits. This continuous project led to another "water" inspired series. Anions, his abstract captures of waters energy during a hurricane. Within the "anion" series, Fedderly created a limited series of 23 large 3x5 foot "colorless" images printed on archival vellum.
His paintings include a body of large and smaller works, in a series using homophones "meat, meet, and mete" as the narrative.
"Palm, Psalm" a series of photo montages using self captured landscapes and body parts to create surreal landscapes.
